EdVisorly is proud to announce our second annual National Transfer Student Week Scholarship Giveaway! One community college student on the path to transfer will be awarded $1,800 in celebration of National Transfer Student Week (October 19–23, 2026). To enter, you must be a community college student and fill out the application form by October 22, 2026 at 11:59pm PT.

Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by EdVisorly, Inc., 5630 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019 (“Sponsor,” “EdVisorly,” “we,” or “us”).
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who, at the time of entry, are (a) at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence), and (b) currently enrolled at a community college or otherwise on a transfer track toward a four-year institution. Employees of EdVisorly, its affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) or household members are not eligible. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
3. Entry Period
The Giveaway begins on October 1, 2026 at 12:00:00 AM PT and ends on October 22, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the “Entry Period”). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s server clock is the official time-keeping device for this Giveaway.
4. How to Enter
During the Entry Period, visit www.edvisorly.com/for-students/ntsw-giveaway and complete the entry form, providing: full name, email address, current school, intended transfer school(s), and a response to the required prompt. No purchase, payment, or donation of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Submitting the completed form constitutes one (1) entry. Limit one (1) entry per person; multiple entries from the same person (as determined by name, email address, or other identifying information) will be void. Incomplete entries, or entries that do not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 2, will be disqualified.
5. Winner Selection and Verification
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor on or about October 23, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by the email address provided at entry within five (5) business days of selection and must respond within five (5) business days to confirm eligibility, or an alternate winner may be selected in their place. Before being confirmed as the winner, the potential winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility (e.g., current school enrollment) and, if applicable, a completed IRS Form W-9, as this prize is taxable income and may be reported to tax authorities if it meets applicable reporting thresholds.
6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a $1,800 scholarship award (“Prize”). The Prize will be delivered via ACH. The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize.
7. Right to Disqualify
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, violating these Official Rules, acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or attempting to enter with multiple identities, accounts, or devices. Sponsor also reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.
8. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes the winner’s consent for Sponsor to use their name, city/state of residence, likeness, and the story or content they submitted, in any media, for promotional and marketing purposes related to the Giveaway, without additional compensation. Winners residing in jurisdictions that prohibit conditioning a prize on granting these rights will not be required to do so as a condition of receiving the Prize.
9. Data Privacy
Information collected through entry (name, email, school, and submitted responses) will be used by Sponsor to administer the Giveaway, contact the winner, and, where the entrant has separately agreed, for EdVisorly marketing communications. Entrant information will be handled in accordance with EdVisorly’s Privacy Policy. Entrants may request removal of their information from marketing lists at any time by contacting hello@edvisorly.com.
10. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance/use of the Prize.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to modify these Official Rules at any time, provided the modification does not materially reduce the value of the Prize or unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Void where prohibited by law.
